Sam Coleman

Sam Coleman is a seasoned multimedia specialist and sound designer with extensive experience in the performing arts and technical theater. Currently at Sciton since December 2018, Sam holds the title of Multimedia Specialist and previously worked as a Receiving Clerk. Notable past roles include Sound Supervisor at Hammer Theatre Center, where responsibilities included operating sound equipment and setting up systems for various events, and Sound Designer for productions at Center Stage Productions and San Jose State University Theatre Arts Department. Sam's background also encompasses roles as an Entertainment Technician and Stage Manager at California's Great America, overseeing sound and lighting for theatrical performances and managing production teams. Sam holds a degree in Theater Arts, with a focus on Technical Theatre from San José State University, and a degree in Human Development Studies from Ohlone College.
