Lela Payne is an experienced education and recruitment professional with a robust background in staffing and outdoor education. Currently serving as Team Leader at Scoot Education, Lela previously held various leadership roles at Rocky Mountain Prep, including Director of Staffing, Senior Manager of Recruitment, and Manager of Recruitment and Retention, where responsibilities included managing hiring processes and coaching hiring managers. Lela's extensive experience also encompasses outdoor education instruction at multiple institutions, focusing on science and leadership for students from kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as program supervision and community outreach. Lela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Religious Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
