David McGeough has extensive work experience in marketing and management roles. David recently joined Scorebuddy as the VP of Marketing in July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Wrike as the Director of International Marketing from December 2019 to July 2021. David also served as the Marketing Director at New Relic, Inc. from April 2016 to December 2019, where they were responsible for digital and email marketing programs in EMEA.
Before that, David worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at Buurst (formerly SoftNAS) from April 2015 to April 2016. David had a long tenure at Citrix, where they held various positions including Senior Marketing Manager and Senior Product & Program Manager in Worldwide Services Marketing. David also served as the Knowledge & Community Manager and Technical & Softskills Training Manager during their tenure at Citrix.
Prior to their time at Citrix, David worked as a Software Developer at European Library Solutions (ELS), where they were involved in development and maintenance work.
David McGeough holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Applications from Dublin City University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Colaiste Ide College of Further Education from 1993 to 1995, specializing in the field of Computer and Information Sciences. David also studied Business Practice, Marketing, and Human Resources at the same institution from 1995 to 1996. David completed their Leaving Certificate at St. Aidans CBS from 1987 to 1993. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Citrix Certified Sales Professional, Citrix Certified Instructor (CCI), Knowledge Centered Support Foundation, and ITIL v3 Foundations.
