Krista Stewart

Krista Stewart is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications and human resources. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Global Human Resources Communication at Scotiabank since January 2016, Krista has held multiple senior roles within the organization, including Senior Manager of Corporate Functions Communications and Commercial Banking Communications, as well as Manager positions in Canadian Banking Communications, Strategy & Planning, and Corporate Communications. Prior to Scotiabank, Krista worked at Infrastructure Ontario where roles included Employee Programs Coordinator for Internal Communications and Corporate Communications Advisor. Krista's career began with a Communications Associate position at Infrastructure Ontario and an internship in Public Relations/Marketing at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Educational credentials include an Honour Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Law, Crime & Deviance from the University of Toronto, a Diploma in Corporate Communications from Sheridan College, and a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto.
