Wayne Erasmus

Wayne Erasmus is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in IT sourcing and procurement, currently serving as the Director of IT Sourcing at Scotiabank since February 2021. Previously, Wayne held the position of Director of Commercial Solutions at RBC, where responsibilities included leading procurement activities across various banking divisions and successfully managing significant procurement projects. Experience also includes leadership roles in Thakral One as VP Regional Operations, KPMG Singapore as Associate Director, and Sofgen Services as Head Project Management Officer for Banking IT. Earlier in the career, Wayne worked at Nedbank Ltd in various managerial roles, focused on corporate banking solutions, and held positions in consulting and project management across several reputable organizations, including Sasol Ltd and C. Steinweg Bridge. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg.
