Paul Burgess has over 20 years of work experience in the finance industry. Paul is currently the Head of Sales at ScotPac Business Finance since March 2021. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at ScotPac, including National Manager Asset Finance and Manager, Equipment Finance, both starting in March 2018. Before joining ScotPac, Paul worked at Bankwest from April 2011 to March 2018 as a Business Development Manager, responsible for managing and selling asset finance products. Paul also worked at Westpac from September 2009 to April 2011 as a Bank Manager, overseeing branch profitability and a team of 20 staff. Paul's early career involved working at National Australia Bank from September 1999 to May 2009 as a Business Development Manager in the Asset Finance Broker Division, where they provided specialized product advice and facilitated training sessions for increased customer engagement.
Paul Burgess received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from RMIT University in 2008 and a Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting from Victoria University in 1994. In addition, they have obtained certifications in "One-Minute Habits for Success," "Be the Manager People Won't Leave," and "How to Be Both Assertive and Likable" from LinkedIn in 2023.
