Maggie Vance

Maggie Vance has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Maggie began their career in 2008 as a Studio Artist at Maggie Vance. In 2013, they worked as a Studio Assistant at Kelly McKaig and also held roles as a Retail Curator and Visitor Services Coordinator, as well as a Visitor Services Associate at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts (UICA). In 2015, Maggie became a Master Scuba Diver Trainer (Free-lance) at PADI. Maggie then transitioned to a role as an Apparel Supervisor at Peckham, Inc. in 2017. In 2016, they worked as a Stylist and Store Manager at Retail Therapy. Maggie joined Founders Brewing Co. in 2013 as a Company Store Server (Part-time). Maggie also gained experience as a Member Coordinator Intern at Heartside Business Association in the same year. Currently, Maggie works at Scott Group Studio, where they started as a Textile Designer in 2019 and has recently become a Design Team Lead. Their professional background showcases their expertise in art, retail, design, and customer service.

Maggie Vance attended Grand Valley State University from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a specialization in Art and Design, with an emphasis on Sculpture. In 2011, they also attended the Ox-Bow School of Art and Artists' Residencies for a year, focusing on Sewing and Weaving. Additionally, they participated in Change U Seminars at Grand Valley State University from 2013 onwards. In the same year, they also pursued General Studies at Pondicherry University.
