Keera A Skinner currently serves as a Residential Officer and previously held the position of Operations Officer with the Scottish Prison Service since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Nightclub Bartender at Temple Falkirk from August 2021 to October 2022, and as a Customer Service Assistant at Sainsbury's from November 2019 to October 2022. Keera began a career in retail as a Sales Assistant at INDIGO SUN LIMITED from May 2017 to December 2019 and also worked as a Receptionist at Enhanced Facial Aesthetics Ltd from November 2018 to September 2019. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of the West of Scotland (2018-2021), a Higher National Diploma in Police Studies from Forth Valley College (2016-2018), and a recent SVQ 7 in Warrant Calculations, Legal Studies from SPS College (July 2023). Keera completed secondary education at Graeme High School in 2018.

The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) is an Executive Agency of the Scottish Government and was first established in April 1993. Our Framework Document sets out the policy and resources framework set by Scottish Ministers within which the SPS operates. As an Executive Agency, the SPS is funded by the Scottish Government.
