Steve O'Rawe, PhD, FHEA, is an experienced professional in the fields of social justice and wellbeing, currently serving as the Theme Lead on Social Justice and Wellbeing for the Scottish Prison Service since September 2019. In this role, Steve focuses on enhancing staff competencies related to substance use, mental health, employability, and the prisoner voice. Since 2003, Steve has also been a lecturer at the University of the West of Scotland. Previous roles include serving as an expert witness and director at SubStance – drug and alcohol consultants from 2007 to September 2019.
