Chris Reid

Chris Reid is an experienced professional in the sports and community development sectors, currently serving as the Game Development Manager for Scottish Rugby since February 2023, where the focus is on supporting local rugby clubs, coaches, and volunteers in the Glasgow North rugby community. As the Founder and Coach Developer for Moving Forward, established in November 2021, Chris aims to enhance the skills of sports coaches in their environments. Previous roles include Coach Development Officer for Scottish Rugby Union, Consultant for the Modern Apprentice Programme, and Development and Coach Education Manager at Trust Rugby International, all contributing to various aspects of coaching, education, and community engagement. Additional experience includes driving and client relations as a Golf Tour Concierge Driver and a background in law enforcement as a Police Dog Handler and Instructor with Strathclyde Police. Chris Reid's diverse career reflects a commitment to developing skills in both sports and community settings.
