David Pugh is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in sports medicine and team healthcare. Currently serving as Chief Medical Officer for Scottish Rugby and British Curling, Pugh also holds positions with the sportscotland institute of sport and the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (FSEM) UK. Pugh has been instrumental in supporting athletes as a team doctor for the Scottish Commonwealth Games Team across five competitions. With over a decade as a freelance GP and sport and exercise medicine practitioner, Pugh contributes to the University of South Wales as a tutor and acts as a Professional Development Advisor at the University of Bath. Pugh's medical education was completed at the University of Glasgow, earning an MBChB in Medicine.
