John Lunn serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Scottish Swimming since January 2025. Prior to this role, John held the position of Sports Development Head at sportscotland from July 2009 to January 2025, overseeing investment and support for Scottish Governing Bodies and high-performance athletes across 55 sports. John's earlier experience includes serving as Lead Manager for Coaching and Volunteering at sportscotland, Development Manager at Triathlonscotland, and Divisional Finance Manager at Sun Chemical Specialty Inks, where John contributed to transforming a loss-making division into the most profitable in the European business. John began the professional journey as Admin and Finance Manager at BOC UK & Ireland, developing administrative and financial systems for new contracts.
