Shannon Lafferty

Shannon Lafferty is a medical scribe currently employed at Orlin & Cohen Orthopedics since June 2022 and with ScribeAmerica since March 2021, where responsibilities include real-time medical charting using Epic Hyperspace electronic health record software and assisting attending physicians to enhance patient care. Prior experience includes serving as Sales Manager at Sweet Sensations Ice Cream from March 2015 to October 2021, overseeing store operations and transactions, and working as a Lifeguard at Babylon Yacht Club from May 2015 to August 2018, ensuring safety standards and training new employees. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University, completed in May 2022, and has also studied at Stony Brook University and The American University of Paris.
