Jessica Mayeux

Jessica Mayeux is a Staff Scientist at Scripps Research, where responsibilities include establishing models of autoimmunity and managing collaborations with various research institutions. Jessica has published work on both spontaneous and silica-induced autoimmunity. As a leader within The Society of Fellows, Jessica has served in multiple roles, including President and Chair of Career Development, promoting professional exchange among postdoctoral researchers. Prior experience includes a Graduate Student Research Assistant position at UT Southwestern Medical Center, focusing on systemic lupus erythematosus, and research internships at UTHSCSA and the Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research. Jessica holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
