Jabari Jackson

Jabari Jackson is an experienced producer with a strong background in broadcast journalism. Currently serving as a Producer at The E.W. Scripps Company since July 2021, Jabari collaborates with talent to create content for live broadcasts and edits material for a law and crime-themed 3-hour show. Previously, as an Associate Segment Producer, Jabari was responsible for creating and editing content for the true crime show "Closing Arguments." Jabari's earlier experience includes roles as an Associate Producer at CNN, where live sports segments were produced for both domestic and international audiences, and as Sports Editor and Director of Web Video Content at the University of South Florida. Jabari began a career in production at ESPN as a Production Assistant, recognized for creating content for a project celebrating Michael Jordan's 50th birthday. Jabari holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
