Michael Lin, CAIA has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Michael is currently employed as the Head of US CLO Structuring and Origination at Sculptor Capital Management, starting in July 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Sound Point Capital Management, LP where they held various positions including Director of CLO Structuring, Associate Director of CLO Structuring, and CLO Structuring Analyst from 2016 to 2022. Before joining Sound Point Capital Management, they worked as a CLO Analyst at Ares Management from 2013 to 2016. Michael began their career at Prudential Financial where they served as a Sr. Trade Support Analyst from 2012 to 2013 and as a Sr. Alternative Investments Specialist from 2007 to 2012.
Michael Lin, CAIA earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Rutgers University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Michael furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Finance at Rutgers University - Newark. Michael completed their MBA program from 2007 to 2012. In November 2017, they obtained their CAIA Charterholder certification from the CAIA Association.
