Catherine Fletcher

Catherine Fletcher has a diverse work experience in various industries. Catherine started their career in 2016 as a World Traveller, Scuba Diving & Freediving Instructor at SSI Scuba Schools International. In 2020, they worked as an Operations Lead at Revena and as a Sales Manager at Global Freediving Solutions. Catherine also became a Member at Science Creates in 2020. From 2020 to 2021, they worked at SCVC, first as an Associate and then as a Principal, focusing on Deep Tech investments and leading the investment process. Catherine gained further experience as a Board Observer at Portal Biotech and served as a Board Observer at Imophoron Ltd and OxDX Ltd in 2021. In 2022, they joined Open Bionics as a Board Observer. Catherine's most recent role is as a Non-Executive Director at Kelpi since 2023.

Catherine Fletcher completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry from the University of Bristol, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Prior to their PhD, they pursued a MSci in Chemistry at the same university from 2004 to 2008. Catherine started their academic journey with a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from Hereford College of Arts, which they completed from 2003 to 2004.
