Evan Kaufman has an extensive work history in robotics, engineering, and research. In 2011, they began their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Air Products and Chemicals. Evan also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Bucknell University that same year. In 2012, they became a Teaching Assistant at The George Washington University and a PhD Student at the same institution.
