Balaji V. has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Balaji began their career in 1999 as a Project Management/Architecture at Compuware Corp/NSF. In 2005, they became a Technical Manager at WiderThan Americas, where they managed technical teams, budget, release/delivery management of multiple projects for VZ Wireless on time and within budget. Balaji then moved to SI International in 2006 as a PMO-Program Manager. In the same year, Balaji V. became a Sr. PM (Consultant) at Fannie Mae. In 2008, they became a Program Manager (consultant) at USDA. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Independent Management Consultant in the financial services industry. In 2011, Balaji V. became the CEO of SD Solutions LLC, where they won the Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year Award from the Internal Revenue Service/US Dept. of the Treasury. Balaji also received Corporate Social Responsibility Award from Asian American Chamber of Commerce, Top MBEs in 2018, 2019, and 2020, Small Business Person of the Year in Virginia - Nominee (US SBA), Innovation in K-12 Education Teaching methods - Nominee (SVTC), Contractor of the Month (NSF), and CMMI DEV 3 & SVC 3 Appraised and ISO 9001:2015, ISO 20000-1:2018, ISO 27001:2013 Certified.

Balaji V. has a diverse educational background. Balaji holds an Executive Course from Babson College in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies, an MBA from the College of Engineering, Guindy in Finance and Information Systems, and a B.S from the University of Madras in Computer Science & Engg.
