Jerry Evans has a background in electrical maintenance and operations management within the steel industry. With experience in process controls, troubleshooting, and working with various plc systems, Jerry's career has evolved from being a Shift Electrician to now overseeing the site electrical system and maintenance personnel as the Operations Manager at SDI LaFarga. Prior to their current role, Jerry served in the United States Navy as an Electrician Mate First Class.

Established in 2010, SDI LaFarga COPPERWORKS™ is the only company in the U.S. that uses state-of-the-art technology to reclaim processed copper, refine it and create new, high-quality copper products for customers from a variety of industries. From our facility in New Haven, Indiana, we manufacture rod, drawn solid wire and can welding wire. Because COPPERWORKS uses secondary copper to make new copper products, our unique process has a significantly lower environmental impact.
