Joakin Gonzalez Vivero has over 20 years of work experience in various managerial positions within the financial and operations fields. Joakin is currently working as the Financial Director at Molinos Champion SAS - Mochasa, a subsidiary of Seaboard Overseas and Trading Group. Prior to this, they served as the South American Regional Manager at Mikuna from August 2021 to March 2023. Before that, they held the position of Ecuador Country Manager at La Soberana, Alimentos, where they oversaw the processing, packing, and export of canned tuna and sardines. Joakin also has extensive experience with Dole Fresh Fruit International, Ltd, where they worked as a Port Manager & Operations specialist, a Finance Manager, and a Financial Analyst.
Joakin Gonzalez Vivero completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Agricultural Economics and Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Joakin attended the university from 2001 to 2004. Before that, they earned an Ingeniero Agronomo degree in Horticultura - Economia Agricola from EAP Zamorano, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. In addition to their academic qualifications, Joakin obtained certification as a Certified Ontological Coach from the To Be Company in December 2018.
