Irina Ginga Dias dos Santos

Irina Ginga Dias dos Santos has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Irina began their career as a Customer Service Operator at TMN, S.A., where they provided information and handled customer requests. Irina then worked as a Customer Service Operator at ZON Tv Cabo before transitioning to Deloitte as a Consultant. At Deloitte, they reviewed financial statements and prepared audit reports. Irina later took on the role of an Analyst, where they analyzed transactions and internal procedures.

Subsequently, Irina joined Maersk Supply Service as an Accounting Assistant. In this role, they supported the Finance Manager with journal input, ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation. Irina also handled client collections and invoice production, controlled supplier invoiced services, and ensured payment of applicable taxes.

Irina then moved to Seadrill, where they held multiple positions. As a Corporate Accountant, they worked in a Shared Services environment, responsible for various financial tasks for major corporate offices globally. Irina later took on the role of Senior Financial Controller, overseeing cost control and ensuring accurate capture of accruals. Currently, they serve as the Lead Controller, developing guidelines for managers and implementing efficiency improvements.

Throughout their career, Irina has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, process improvement, and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Irina Ginga Dias dos Santos has a bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, with a major in Finance, from ISCTE Business School, which they completed in 2019. Irina also attended Escola Secundária Padre António Vieira from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a 12ª degree in Economy. In 2021, Irina obtained the CIMA Advanced Diploma of Management Accounting from AICP. Additionally, in 2019, they obtained the CIMA Business Accounting Certificate from AICPA and achieved an IELTS - Level 8 certification from Cambridge Assessment English. Irina also has additional certifications in programming, including "Flying Through Python" and "Front-end Foundations" from Code School.
