Pedro Souza

Pedro Souza possesses extensive experience in the offshore drilling industry, currently serving as Rig Manager for Seadrill's West Carina since February 2014. Previous roles include Assistant Rig Manager on both West Carina and Sevan Louisiana, along with responsibilities as Technical Superintendent leading a $4M Maintenance Optimization project. As Project Lead at Seadrill's London headquarters, Pedro contributed to the development of the IBM Maximo solution, training over 300 employees while overseeing changes across various departments. Additionally, experience as a Technical Leader included ensuring compliance with classification society requirements. Earlier career stages involved internships at Estaleiro Enseada do Paraguaçu, BP, and Meta Consultoria. Pedro holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense and has also studied Strategic Planning and International Marketing at the University of La Verne.
