Tom Maxwell

Tom Maxwell is a finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the Seadrill Group. Currently serving as Head of Finance since April 2019, Tom oversees financial operations for Seadrill and Sonadrill while managing finance functions across Africa. Prior positions include Head of Legal Entity Finance and Group Accounting Manager at Seadrill Management Ltd, where responsibilities spanned legal entity control and compliance with USGAAP and UKGAAP. Earlier experience includes a Senior Consultant role at Deloitte Bermuda, focusing on financial reporting and accounting for banking institutions, and progressing through the ranks at Deloitte UK after obtaining a Chartered Accountant qualification. Tom holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Manchester.
