James (Jim) Ekwall has extensive experience in hardware development and engineering, currently serving as Manager of Recurring Product Engineering at SEAKR Engineering, Inc. since January 2017. Prior to this role, Ekwall held positions at DirectStream, LLC and SRC Computers, where significant contributions included enhancing circuit board design for improved manufacturing test coverage. Ekwall also worked at SGI and Cray Research, Inc. as a Design Verification Engineer, specializing in functional verification of ASIC designs for supercomputers. Early career experience includes serving in the US Army as a Signal Intelligence Non-Morse Teletype Intercept. Ekwall holds an Associate of Science degree in Computer Electronics from WITC-New Richmond.
