Seleyman Ghafuri is a Geotechnical Engineer with extensive experience in site characterisation and foundation engineering for seabed structures, having worked at Seas Geosciences and Fugro. Prior to these roles, Seleyman served as a Technician at Arla Foods, addressing technical challenges related to machinery, and completed a graduate internship at Vermilion Energy focused on solutions for abandoned oil and gas wells. Additional experience includes roles as an Administrative Assistant at Begeleidersplein and Student Assistant positions at Delft University of Technology, where contributions were made to geophysical data collection and research in facial pattern recognition. Seleyman’s engineering foundations were laid through a Master’s degree in Applied Earth Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Earth Science from Delft University of Technology, along with an earlier academic pursuit in Architecture at Ghent University.
