Joshua Liu has been working in various roles since 2004. In 2007, they joined the Board of Directors of Shad Canada. In 2008, they created MedHopeful.com. In 2011, they became Co-Principal Investigator of Current State Mapping for Avoidable Hospitalization at the University Health Network. In 2012, they became Co-Founder and CEO of SeamlessMD, a Digital Care Journey platform for health systems. In 2016, they became a Member of the Joule Innovation Council at the Canadian Medical Association and in 2022, they joined the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Committee of the Sinai Health Foundation.
Joshua Liu attended the University of Toronto from 2009 to 2013, where they earned their M.D. in Medicine. Prior to that, they attended York University from 2006 to 2009, where they earned their BSc in Biomedical Sciences.
