Shiva Kumar Dhungana

Shiva Kumar Dhungana is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in conflict resolution and peacebuilding. Since January 2009, Shiva has held multiple senior roles at Search for Common Ground, including Senior Specialist for Global Research and Evidence and Learning for Asia and MENA, and Senior Manager for the Institutional Learning Team. In these positions, Shiva provides strategic leadership for regional programs in various conflict zones and oversees research and evaluations across multiple countries. Prior to this, Shiva worked as a Researcher for the Friends for Peace Project at International Alert, focusing on peacebuilding in Nepal. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Human Rights and Democratization from the University of Sydney, a Master's in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of the Philippines, and a Diploma in Population Sciences from the International Institute for Population Sciences.
