Vedant Patel

Vedant Patel has a diverse range of work experience in product design. Vedant is currently working as a Product Designer I at SeatGeek. Prior to this, Vedant worked as a self-employed Brand & Product Designer, completing over 50 brand and product design client projects for various startups. Vedant has also worked as a Product Design Intern at Konrad Group, where they played a key role in building and designing an agriculture portal for North American farmers. Additionally, Vedant has experience as a Product Designer at UW Blueprint, where they collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to build digital solutions for non-profit organizations. Vedant also worked as a Product Design Intern at Rogers Communications, facilitating design thinking workshops and designing a campus smart parking app. Furthermore, Vedant has experience as a Product Designer at Sociavore, where they led user research and designed a chat widget for restaurant websites. Vedant also held a Graphic Design Internship at CQUniversity Cairns Taipans, and worked as a Designer & Cafe Worker at TARTISTRY.

Vedant Patel started their education at West Humber Collegiate Institute in 2015 and completed their Ontario Secondary School Diploma in 2019. Following this, they pursued an Honours Global Business & Digital Arts degree at the University of Waterloo from 2019 to 2023, with a focus on Interactive Design & Business.

In terms of additional certifications, Vedant obtained a Specialist High Skills Major from the Ontario Ministry of Education in June 2019. Vedant also holds an Innovation Creativity & Entrepreneurship (ICE) Certification, a Leadership Certification, and a Portfolio Development Certificate, all obtained from Flashpoint Training Inc. in April and November 2018. Additionally, they have a Standard First Aid, CPR and AED certification obtained from Workplace Medical Corp. in April 2019.
