Janitha Samarasinghe is currently serving as the Engineering Manager for the core team in the financing domain at SEB Embedded since February 2023. Prior to this role, Janitha held positions such as Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the in-house startup's focus on Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS). Experience also includes a tenure as a Senior Software Engineer at SEBx and Klarna, alongside technical leadership at Sysco LABS Sri Lanka. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.Sc) in Computer Science from the University of Peradeniya, as well as various certifications in Information Technology. Janitha has co-founded the start-up IllusionBox, focusing on gamification solutions, and has experience as a freelance graphic designer.
