Kim Helmbold has over 27 years of work experience in the design industry. Kim is currently the VP Innovation Insights at Groupe SEB since October 2021. Previously, they served as the VP Design at Groupe SEB from May 2017 to December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Philips Design for 18 years, holding various roles including Creative Director, Senior Design Manager, Design Consultant, and Senior Designer. Kim also worked as a Designer at Samsung Electronics and as a freelance Designer. Kim Helmbold started their career at Design Plan Studio, which is now known as eliumstudio.
Kim Helmbold earned a Master's Degree in Industrial and Product Design from ENSCI-Les Ateliers, graduating in 1994 after studying from 1989 to 1994.
