Philippe Martelo has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Philippe started their career as a Finance Project Lead at Groupe PSA in 1994, followed by a role as a Financial Business Analyst at URGO Group in 1995. Philippe then joined AXA as an Internal Auditor in 1996 before moving to ARTHUR ANDERSEN (Official) as an External Auditor/Consultant from 1997 to 1999. Philippe then worked at Renault Trucks as a Senior Internal Auditor from 1999 to 2000. In 2000, they joined Groupe SEB, where they held various roles including Internal Auditor, Controller for Asia Rest Of the World, VP Finance & Controlling for Eastern Europe & Export Development, VP Finance & Controlling for Food Prep & Beverage SBU, Project Manager in the CFO Office, VP Credit Management, Real Estate, Finance Information Systems Director, Finance Transformation Director, Processes, and currently, they are the BU Home & Personal Care CFO & VP Controlling.
Philippe Martelo earned a Master's degree in Finance, General from EDHEC Business School from 1993 to 1995. In 2006 to 2007, they attended INSEAD and completed a Programme Senior Management in Global Leadership.

SEB SA is a France-based manufacturer of household equipment. The Company is present in three complementary sectors: Cookware, Kitchen Electrics and Home and Personal Care. The Cookware sector includes frying pans, oven dishes, pressure cookers, kitchen utensils, among others. The Kitchen Electrics is divided into two smaller groups: Electric cooking, which includes deep fryers, table-top ovens, rice cookers, induction hobs, barbecues, informal meal appliances and Preparation, which consists of food processors, beaters, mixers, blenders, juicers, coffee makers.
