Michael Franck is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in securities law and antitrust issues. Currently serving as a General Attorney in the Division of Enforcement and previously as an Attorney Adviser in the Division of Trading and Markets at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since December 2014, Michael provides critical legal advice on broker-dealer securities matters. Prior to this, Michael held the position of Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Attorney General of Massachusetts, where investigations into price fixing and competitive practices were conducted. Michael has also worked as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, representing international clients in securities fraud cases and guiding significant mergers through regulatory processes. Michael's early legal experience includes internships at the United States Attorney's Office and the U.S. Department of Justice. Michael earned a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
