Quality Assurance Engineer

**Responsibilities **

• Implement the current best practices for automated testing of a microservices architecture
• Provide visualizations and reports regarding the quality of applications
• Work with engineers to formulate testing plans
• Create automated integration and regression testing suites Manually test and report on new features from an end-user perspective
• Create well-defined defect reports for the engineers
• Analyze requirements for applications and features and document test cases

**Qualifications **

• At least 2 years of experience working in software quality assurance
• Experience testing in microservices-based architectures Demonstrated knowledge of web protocols (HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, etc.)
• Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience working in an Agile software development life-cycle
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with test automation tools such as Selenium, Karate, etc.

Nice to have

• Experience working with containerized applications Knowledge of the various public cloud offerings (Google, AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Startup experience
• Experience working in a remote environment
