Bruce Lay is a Senior Security Engineer at SecureFlag, a role commenced in February 2021, where responsibilities include creating intentionally vulnerable full-stack applications to help developers learn to identify and address software vulnerabilities. Previously, Bruce served as a Stress Analyst Intern at Assystem for a brief period in May 2016, during which time VBA scripts were developed to automate data processing for NASTRAN software, significantly improving efficiency. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London (2019-2023) and has enhanced qualifications through SANS Technology Institute, obtaining certifications in Windows Forensics Analysis and Hacker Tools, Techniques, Exploits, and Incident Handling in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
