Jose Nevarez

Jose Nevarez, CRI, is an experienced commercial mortgage producer at Securian Asset Management, where responsibilities include originating commercial mortgages and presenting deal summaries for investment committee approvals since June 2017. Previously, in a remote role as a commercial mortgage analyst, Jose conducted extensive analyses of commercial real estate investment opportunities, supporting senior production officers in structuring loans and performing market research. The early career included an internship at Kohler Co., assisting in the management of a vast global portfolio, and a significant tenure at Nouveau Elevator as a senior account manager, overseeing operations for 1,290 active accounts while also serving in an office managerial capacity. Jose holds an M.B.A. in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the Wisconsin School of Business, an M.A. in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from San Francisco State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Michigan.
