Jeff Bakken

Jeff Bakken is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media relations and political communications. Currently serving as a Media Relations Consultant at Securian Financial Group since May 2015, Bakken previously held significant roles such as Communications Director for Jeff Johnson's gubernatorial campaign, Director of Communications at PIE Network, and Co-Founder/Partner at P2B Strategies. Additional experience includes managing public relations at Gray Plant Mooty, working as a Senior Account Executive at Weber Shandwick, and serving as Public Information Officer for the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. Bakken began a career in political communications as Press Secretary for the Minnesota House of Representatives and Communications Director for Mark Kennedy's congressional campaign. Bakken earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Minnesota.
