Seanta Prescott

Seanta Prescott has a diverse work experience starting in 2005 as a Hospitality Aid at Peterson's Nursing Home, where they assisted residents with daily tasks and achieved a pay raise due to their exemplary customer service skills. In 2009, they became a Sales Associate at Maurices and was later promoted to a key holder position. Seanta excelled in sales challenges, consistently winning competitions for highest credit card sign-ups and items sold. In 2010, Seanta worked as a Sandwich Artist at Subway, quickly advancing to closing and opening shift duties. Seanta then joined Britches Clothing Store as a Sales Associate, where they achieved high add-on sales and was promoted to a key holder. Seanta also assisted with store marketing and advertising through social networking sites. Starting in 2013, they interned at the State of Kansas House of Representatives, gaining valuable experience in a political environment. In 2016, Seanta joined the Army National Guard as a Marketing (Social Media Specialist), responsible for creating social media campaigns and website design to support recruitment efforts. Seanta also presented analytical information on social media campaigns for strategic communications. Concurrently, they worked at Security Benefit as a Human Resources Specialist, with a focus on personnel services and operations. Seanta also has experience in the Kansas Army National Guard, where they served as a Non Commissioned Officer and cross-trained in Flight Operations Specialist roles, demonstrating expertise in management, reporting, customer service, communication, and training.

Seanta Prescott's education history begins with their high school diploma from Osage City High School. Seanta then attended Allen County Community College from 2006 to 2009, where they pursued general education. Subsequently, they enrolled in The University of Kansas from 2009 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies. In 2011, Seanta attended Ft. Gordon Signal School for a short period to study as a Signal Support Systems Specialist. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Development (Management and Consulting) at Pittsburg State University.

In addition to their formal education, Seanta has obtained several certifications. Seanta became a Communications Consultant from DISC Platinum Rule in July 2016. In April 2016, they received a certification in Fiscal Law, Marketing, and Social Media from the National Guard Bureau. In March 2016, they earned the designation of Unit Prevention Leader from the Kansas Army National Guard, and also became a Unit Public Affairs Reporter from the same institution during the same month and year.
