Steven Cress

Steven Cress is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in quantitative strategy, analytics, and asset management. Currently serving as the Head of Quantitative Strategy at Seeking Alpha since December 2018, Steven integrates CressCap Investment Research products into the Seeking Alpha platform, fostering autonomous security selection through advanced statistical computing systems. Previously, as Chief Executive Officer of CressCap Investment Research, Steven led the development of a pioneering web-based analytics platform for investment professionals. Additional roles include Managing Partner and CIO at Cress Capital Management, Managing Director of Equities at Sunrise Brokers, Head of International Sales and Client Services at Northern Trust, and Executive Director at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Steven's career began with roles at Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder and Prudential Securities. Steven holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business and Liberal Arts from Skidmore College.
