Michaela Crum has a diverse work experience in the field of geological engineering and related roles. Michaela started their career as a Summer Intern at USG in 2007, where they directed a drilling program, surveyed drillholes using GPS technology, and created property maps using AutoCAD. In 2008, they worked as a Geological Engineering Intern at Cleveland-Cliffs Inc, where they analyzed drill core data, created a drillhole database, and sampled and mapped blast hole geology in iron ore mines. Michaela then moved on to Cliffs Natural Resources as a Geological Engineer from 2009 to 2014. At Maptek, they worked as a Geological Engineer and later as a Technical Services Manager for the Mine Solutions Team from 2014 to 2018. Currently, they are working at Seequent as a Customer Solutions Manager, Civil & Environmental since 2018 and has taken on the role of Director, GeoStudio Sales starting June 2020.

Michaela Crum earned a Bachelor's Degree in Geological Engineering with a Mining Minor from Michigan Technological University between 2004 and 2008. Michaela later obtained a Masters Certificate in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology, between 2012 and 2014.
