Mark Eccles has extensive experience in the energy industry, starting their career as a Gas Trading Manager at Norweb Gas in 1996. Mark then worked as a Gas Trading Manager at Natural Gas Shipping Services from 2001 to 2006. In 2006, they joined Gazprom Energy as the Head of Gas, and later became the Head of Gas Global Retail at Gazprom Marketing & Trading Retail Ltd from 2009 to 2012. Mark then took on various leadership roles at SEFE Energy, including Director of Commercial & Operations, Regional Director of Gas & Power, and Chief Commercial Officer. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at SEFE Energy.
Mark Eccles attended Lostock Hall High School from 1982 to 1987. Mark later went on to study Electrical Engineering at Preston College (UCLAN) from 1988 to 1991.
