Ava Strasser is currently a Gender & Youth Analyst at Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), having previously served as a Program Assistant at the NGO Working Group on Women, Peace and Security. In this role, Strasser provided critical support for advocacy initiatives related to Women, Peace, and Security, managing logistics, drafting statements, and executing strategic communications campaigns that significantly increased organizational visibility. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Consultant for the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders, where research on women’s political participation was conducted, and as a Security Sector & Gender Specialist Intern at the United Nations Office of Rule of Law and Security Institutions, leading project management efforts. Strasser holds a Master's degree in Global Affairs from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a focus on International & Comparative Politics and Gender & Women's Studies from Western Michigan University.
