Ben Hartley

Ben Hartley is an experienced professional in the fields of sustainable energy, policy advisory, and international development. Currently serving as Program Manager at Sustainable Energy for All since January 2018, Ben focuses on fostering partnerships and unlocking financing for universal access to sustainable energy. Previously, Ben held positions as a Policy Advisor at Environment and Climate Change Canada and as a Consultant within the Climate Change Group at The World Bank. Additional roles include serving as a Special Assistant in the Office of the Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, a Senior Associate at Odgers Berndtson, a Communications Consultant for UNICEF, and in various research and operational roles during earlier career stages. Ben holds a Master of Arts in International Economics & International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science from Queen’s University.
