Sebastian Paal is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and renewable technology. Currently, Sebastian serves as Co-Founder and CIO at Labora Capital Partners since March 2023. Additionally, since November 2021, Sebastian has held positions as an investor and board member at both Soligent and Segen, organizations recognized globally for their contributions to renewable energy solutions. Sebastian is also the founder and director of Compound Capital Ltd since June 2018 and has strategic partnership involvement with Labora Group, a global family office. Prior to these roles, Sebastian built a robust career at J.P. Morgan from June 2006 to May 2018 and completed a management trainee program at HypoVereinsbank. Academically, Sebastian earned a graduate degree in finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and an undergraduate degree in finance and corporate banking from the University of Cooperative Education of Saxony.
