Burak Latif Latifoglu graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics (English) in 2004 and started his career as an Administrative Judicial Judge in 2005. He later moved to the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) and left his position as The Banks Sworn Deputy Chief Minister in 2017. During this period, he carried out numerous audits of banks and non-bank financial institutions in Turkey and abroad, and in 2014-2017 he served as Audit Group Chairman and Acting Department Head. Latifoglu served as General Manager of Şeker Financial Leasing Inc. between October 2017 and September 2019 and was appointed as The Deputy General Manager of Şekerbank T.A.Ş. in October 2019.
