Ian Huscroft

Ian Huscroft is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Technical Sales Officer and previously as a Senior Research Scientist at Eurofins Selcia since March 2006, Ian is skilled in the design, synthesis, and purification of carbon-14 radiolabelled compounds for various sectors, alongside adhering to GLP/GMP standards. Prior to this role, Ian worked as a Research Chemist at Merck, Sharp and Dohme from August 1991 to March 2006, focusing on the design and synthesis of novel compounds targeting the central nervous system, and possesses specialized knowledge on the pharmacokinetics required for compounds to effectively cross the blood-brain barrier. Ian earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Chemistry from De Montfort University between 1987 and 1991.
