Selective Service Appeals Board Member at Selective Service System

Adriane Reesey has extensive experience in various leadership and community service roles, significantly contributing to criminal justice and human trafficking awareness. As a Selective Service Appeals Board Member since January 2012, Adriane evaluates appeals cases to ensure compliance and uphold system integrity. Appointed by President Barack Obama, Adriane also served as a Local Board Member in the Selective Service System. Previous roles include Project Director at 1HTC, Adjunct Professor at Broward College, CEO of TriggerFish CJC, and Community Involvement and Research Specialist at the Broward Sheriff's Office. Adriane was elected President of the Broward Veterans Coalition and founded the Broward Human Trafficking Coalition. With several degrees in Criminal Justice and a PhD in Business Administration, Adriane continues to advocate for social justice and community empowerment.

Selective Service System

The Selective Service System is charged with providing the Department of Defense trained and untrained personnel in the event of a national emergency. Almost all male citizens and immigrants between the agees of 18-25 must register with the Selective Service. The Selective Service also provides alternative service options for concientious objectors.
