Michael Nickerson has over 19 years of work experience in various roles related to data science, intelligence analysis, and planning. Michael is currently employed at Semantic AI as a Data Scientist. Prior to that, Michael worked at Altamira Technologies Corporation as an Intelligence Integration Manager from 2020 to 2021. From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Future Operations Director at Special Operations Task Force: North and West Africa.
Before joining Semantic AI, Michael held positions at U.S. Army Europe as an Exercises and Planning Officer from 2017 to 2019. Michael also worked at the 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne) - Army National Guard as a Senior Intelligence Officer from 2009 to 2019 and as an Intelligence Analyst from 2002 to 2009. Additionally, Michael served as the Deputy Director of Intelligence at the Joint Special Operations Task Force - Arabian Peninsula in 2016 and as a Plans Officer at U.S. European Command from 2014 to 2015.
Michael Nickerson attended Florida State University from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry.
