Sotiris Karampatakis currently serves as a Researcher at Semantic Web Company GmbH since April 2019. Prior to this role, Sotiris was the Lead Software Developer at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, overseeing the Developers team for the PhD Hub Erasmus+ Project from April 2018 to March 2019. From September 2015 to March 2019, Sotiris worked at Open Knowledge Greece as a DevOps/DataOps professional and previously held a position as a Software Engineer and Data Analyst at OpenBudgets.eu from September 2015 to November 2017, focusing on enhancing transparency in public spending. Sotiris holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Web Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the University of Crete.
