Tomas Knap has a diverse work experience in the field of linked data and software engineering. Tomas started their career as an IT Specialist at Trask solutions a.s. in 2007 and worked there until 2010. Tomas then worked as a Linked Data researcher at the University of Economics, Prague from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they became a Partner and Linked Data Consultant at Semantica.cz. In 2014, they worked as a Software Architect at EEA s.r.o. From 2008 to 2017, they worked as a Linked Data Researcher at Charles University in Prague. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at Semantic Web Company (SWC) since October 2022, and prior to that, they were a Software Engineer and Researcher at SWC from 2016 to 2022.
Tomas Knap attended Charles University from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science.
